Hydrogen is a highly flammable gas; in the event that the hydrogen that exits the battery comes in contact with a spark or flame and catches fire, the zig-zag path of our Automobile Battery Filters will prevent the fire from reaching the battery.

In addition, our porous plastic filter discs also prevent the entry of unwanted solid and liquid particles into the battery which could compromise the functioning of the battery and negatively impact the operations of the automobile.

Our porous plastic discs are also completely chemically inert, and will not cause any reaction if it comes into contact with the battery acid or any other chemical.

We spear headed the manufacturing of filter discs for automotive batteries in India in the 1980s, using grade-A imported raw materials and superior infrastructure. Our Automobile Filter Discs are typically international-grade polypropylene PP filter discs, but can also be manufactured using other polymers like polystyrene or polyethylene.
